Eintracht Frankfurt: FC Bayern and BVB's interest in Ekitiké revealed
Fresh reports have emerged indicating that German giants FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are among top clubs interested in signing in-demand Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitiké.
Ekitiké, has been in impressive form for the Eagles this season, scoring 10 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions, attracting the attention of several clubs across Europe. The 20-year-old French striker has been a key player for Eintracht Frankfurt as they currently sit ninth in the Bundesliga, four points adrift of the top six with 10 games remaining, and also reached the semi-finals of DFB-Pokal.
Bundesliga interest
According to German publication Sport1, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are closely monitoring Ekitiké's progress and could make a move for him in the summer. Both clubs are reportedly keen on adding a young, talented striker to their squads, and Ekitiké fits the bill perfectly.
Ekitiké is under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2023, but it is believed that the club would be willing to sell him for a fee in the region of €30 million. It remains to be seen whether Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund will make a formal approach for the striker, but it is clear that he is one of the most sought-after young players in Europe.
